INTERNET SECURITY POLICY

By using this site, you agree to security monitoring and auditing. For security purposes and to ensure the availability of public service to users, this government computer system uses programs to monitor network traffic to detect unauthorized attempts to upload or alter information or otherwise cause damage, including attempts to deny service to users.

Unauthorized attempts to upload or modify information on any part of this site are strictly forbidden and may result in legal action under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996 (refer to Title 18 U.S.C. 1001 and 1030).

To maintain optimal performance for all users, the USIMSEC monitors content request frequency to prevent automated searches from hindering access for others. We retain the right to block IP addresses that exceed a reasonable number of requests. Currently, users are limited to a maximum of 10 requests per second, irrespective of the number of devices used.

Should a user or application surpass this limit, further requests from the respective IP address (es) may be temporarily restricted. Access will be restored once request rates drop below the threshold for 10 consecutive minutes. This practice aims to curb excessive automated searches without disrupting individual browsing experiences.

Furthermore, the USIMSEC prohibits "unclassified" bots or automated tools from crawling the site. Requests identified as such will be managed to ensure fair access for all users. Please note that this policy is subject to change in order to maintain efficient website operation and accessibility.
